The inspiration for this new Ghirelli masterpiece rosary is the majestic statue of of the Archangel St. Michael that stands atop Tepeyac Hill at the back of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.   

 Imitation Mother of Pearl Hail Mary beads with opaque richness represent Our Lady's purity, and Brilliant Red Our Fathers stand for the fire and power of faith as St. Michael, Prince of Angels, waged war with the evil one who would not submit to God. The ornate cutout Crucifix features Our Lord Jesus with two Holy Angels by his side.

The centerpiece is a reproduction of the statue of St. Michael, with enamel on the shield, and on the back a white Host representing the Eucharistic Jesus and the words that St. Michael shouted to Lucifer, "Who is like unto God?"
